“Taylor is absolutely amazing! She is such a lovely person and has such a calming presence, and is very knowledgeable and helpful. She was with us for four months (three of maternity leave and one extra month to help bridge the back to work transition - trust me, you want this) after our son, our first child, was born. She provided compassionate, prompt, consistent care to our son, allowing my husband and I to get a little more much needed rest. She also offered some much appreciated guidance with breastfeeding and pumping, as well as support on the emotional rollercoaster that accompanies being a new mom. Taylor was also super helpful with small tasks around the house like changing out laundry, swiffering, and light meal prep. We will definitely be having Taylor back for Baby #2!

“We were so lucky to have Taylor as our overnight postpartum doula for four months after our daughter was born (we even extended an extra month because she was such a lifesaver!). Our daughter struggled with severe colic and would hardly sleep, and Taylor was an incredible source of support, calm, and guidance during that difficult time. She not only helped us survive those sleepless nights but also helped us identify our daughter’s cow’s milk protein intolerance, which made such a difference in her comfort and health. Taylor’s knowledge, patience, and kindness made the hardest early months so much more manageable - we truly couldn’t have done it without her.”

“After my mother left, Taylor came to our house as a postpartum doula.  Her presence in our house instantly made me feel more relaxed.  She made sure I ate healthy and delicious foods, showered, and took time for myself.  She took care of the baby whenever I needed to work.  She offered suggestions for his gas and rashes, and checked in on me with my breastfeeding journey.  While I would nurse him, we would often just talk about anything and everything, and it helped me feel more like a human again.  During my first postpartum period, the feelings of being alone and with a baby all day had been very hard for me to handle.  With Taylor, I did not have those feelings.  I began to really look forward to the days she would be at the house with me, and not just because it meant someone would help with the baby and tidying the house.

Taylor also took our family's holiday photos, and they were amazing.  We used them for our Christmas cards, and I will treasure them forever.  While she was with my youngest and I was at work, she would always send me pictures of him.  This made me feel so reassured.

My husband and I had never been good at cooking and rarely had much in our fridge (we ordered out a lot).  Thanks to Taylor, I rediscovered my love of cucumbers, pesto, and homemade food.  Now our fridge is full, even when Taylor isn't here.  While my fourth trimester is officially over, my husband and I both wanted to keep Taylor in our family.  She now helps us continue to work on making and eating healthy meals, and is our go-to whenever we need childcare.”
